Program
Suitable for children between 6 and 12 years old
06.07.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX Restoration
Children will learn about the work and activities of restorers, how they work, how they restore various exhibits, they will have the opportunity to visit the museum's laboratory to follow the work process. After that, they will restore their object themselves, participating in a thematic workshop in the educational center.
07.07.2023 - Ethnography
What is Ethnography, who are the people who work, what do they do as ethnographers. But everything does not end here, the children will have the opportunity in a thematic workshop to create their own field questionnaire, and then in the museum games they will play the role of collectors of legends and traditions.
21.07.2023 – Археология
The children will learn about the work of archaeologists in the museum by having a talk by a specialist who will introduce them to how they work, how they reach their discoveries and everything related to archaeology, and then they will have a thematic workshop related to this activity. to show what they learned from the talk.
27.07.2023 – Ethnography (Agriculture)
The children will learn about agriculture, as part of the life of Bulgarians and a main activity in the past. The traditions at various important parts in the cultivation of the land, the relationship between man and nature and the various practices and beliefs related to fertility, and then they themselves will plant various seeds in the museum.
28.07.2023 – Ethnography (Livestock)
Children will get to know the other important industry in the household and people's lives in the past, animal husbandry. As it will also be told how important a part of people's daily life is making a living. They will then ferment milk themselves by being introduced to the sequence of how milk turns sour. They will also have the opportunity to see how wool is worked in a themed workshop.
