Museum Education Center
From October 2, the Museum Education Center at the National History Museum will be open on weekdays as well.
To the program for the regular Saturday-Sunday workshops, we also add the possibility of visits from Monday to Friday.
Every weekday from 10:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m., children over 4 years of age will be able to participate in a variety of workshops.
Experts at the center offer a varied program that includes mosaic making, knitting, felting, pop-up cards, ethnographic dolls, Chipro carpets, fantastic animals and more.
The duration of a lesson is between 60 and 90 minutes.
From April 1 to April 05, 2024, the Museum Education Center of the National History Museum will host Spring Break at the Museum.

Interactive talks
Groups for interactive talks can be a maximum of 15 children.
They include presentation of a given historical theme in the exposition, dialogue, work in groups, role-playing games, organizing compositions related to the theme. These activities include: putting together a puzzle, drawing, coloring, modeling, appliqué and the following games: "Look, Find, Tell", "Remember, Collect, Tell", "Labyrinth", "Set the Table", "Holiday Timeline" " and others.
Duration – 1 hour. Price – BGN 20.

Creative workshops are held in the Museum Education Center related to various topics from history or specific exhibitions from the exposition.

For two classes on the same day for one participant - BGN 20.
For three classes on the same day for one participant - BGN 30.
Preferential prices:
For a group of more than 20 children - BGN 10 each.
For classes of two or more children from the same family - BGN 10 each.

The hall of the Museum Education Center and the park space of the National History Museum are increasingly preferred places to celebrate birthdays.
