Organized free thematic talks on the occasion of the International Guide Day on February 21
The team of the National History Museum is pleased to inform you that on February 21, on the occasion of the International Tour Guide Day, free thematic talks by our tour guides will be organized for our visitors. The theme of the talks aims to introduce museum guests to three topics, revealing details about the social position of women, about the meanings and purposes of different ornaments, as well as about the various objects that represented the symbolism of power in different periods. The artifacts on which the talks will be focused are displayed throughout the various halls of the museum, which will contribute to the completeness of the tour guide's narrative.
The duration of the talks is 30 minutes and will be held according to the following schedule:
10:30 a.m. - "The Woman - Priestess, Goddess, Queen, Princess" (It tells about the role of women throughout the ages)
11:00 a.m. - "Jewelry from Antiquity to the Renaissance" (The role of jewelry as a symbol of power and in the process of performing rituals)
11:30 a.m. - "Symbols of power through the ages" (It shows the figure of the ruler and the symbols of his power)
12:30 a.m. - "The Woman - Priestess, Goddess, Queen, Princess" (It tells about the role of women throughout the ages)
