Ch. Associate Professor Petranka Nedelcheva, Ph.D., was elected as a Corresponding Member of the American Archaeological Institute
On the day of the archaeologist, the National History Museum has the honor and pleasure to congratulate the colleague ch. Dr. Petranka Nedelcheva with her election as a corresponding member of the American Archaeological Institute. According to the Institute, "corresponding members of the AIA are distinguished scholars who have made recognized achievements in any of the fields of archeology or in the arts and sciences related to it, including the fields of education, conservation and museums."
Dr. Petranka Nedelcheva is the head of the Department of "Exposition and International Activities" and a long-time lecturer in the Department of Archeology at the New Bulgarian University, a specialist in the field of prehistory. Over the years ch. Dr. Petranka Nedelcheva participated in many international archaeological projects such as Troy, Ephesus, Corinth, Samothrace and many others.
