Pre-Roman bronze vessels
Bronze vessels are among the most representative monuments of ancient craftsmanship. They may be associated with the banquet service or the toiletries, and were probably used in certain rituals. It is no coincidence that they were also placed in rich burial complexes associated with the Thracian aristocracy. In different chronological periods, they were decorated with a variety of appliqués, representing mostly mythical creatures (soldiers, sirens, etc.), animals and plant ornaments.
