He graduated from SU "St. Kliment Ohridski", specialty "History" with specialization "Culturology". Defense doctorate on the topic "Old Bulgarian Belts VII - XI century" at NAIM - BAS. Elected as the main assistant and registered according to scientometric data in the National Institute of National Research and Development.
Fellow of the Maison des Culures du Monde and the Maison des sciences de l'Homme at the Université Paris IV; specialized in the Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuzeum, Mainz. Author of "Crosses from Yakoruda" Sofia, 2011, as well as 101 articles in the field of medieval Bulgarian archaeology, ancient Bulgarian metalwork, texts and annotations in exhibition catalogs, and travel guides.
Head of the archaeological investigations of the fortresses "Kalyata" near the town of Yakoruda" and "Bukelon", Svilengradsko, co-head of the investigations in the Inner City of the First Bulgarian capital, Pliska. Participant in the international research project between Bulgaria and Germany for the study of the Preslav Treasure, as well as in projects financed by the "Scientific Research" fund at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, UNIBIT and MK. Member of the BNK of ICOM.
