The director and the team of the National History Museum express their most sincere condolences on the death of our beloved colleague and friend Liliana Georgieva Atanasova!

Lily, as she is known to most of her colleagues and friends, leaves behind a bright example of a well-worn life path and dedication to everyone. Her professional path took her to the National History Museum back in 1987 and for 36 years she has been a positive, empathetic, generous, honorable, wise, responsible colleague and friend.

Before devoting most of her professional career to the museum institution, Lily was part of the Committee for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Abroad (1971), the Center for Balkan Studies at the BAS (1973), the National Youth Theater (1974 ), DG "International Cultural Activity" to the Committee for Culture (1981), State Association "Cultural - Historical Heritage" to the Committee for Culture (1986), and since 1987 has been performing various activities: organizer, technical associate and administrative specialist at the National History Museum.

As an inspiring colleague, a person with a big heart, showing kindness and humanity to everyone, Lily will be remembered by all for her professionalism, dedication and high morals.

A worthy man with proven moral virtues, who deserved the respect and love of his relatives, friends and colleagues, has left us.

The National History Museum expresses its condolences to the family, relatives, colleagues and everyone who loves and respects Liliana Georgieva Atanasova - Lily.
