Last days of the most aromatic, romantic and inspiring exhibition dedicated to rose production in Bulgaria.
The exhibition "La Belle Rose - The mystical power of the small flower" will be at the National History Museum until 27.11.2022.
Only a few days remain until the end of the most aromatic, romantic and inspiring exhibition dedicated to rose production in Bulgaria. Visitors to the National History Museum will have the opportunity until the end of this week (until 27.11.2022) to view the impressive exhibition tracing the path of Bulgarian rose oil from its first drops to the conquest of world markets in the XNUMXth century.
An interesting highlight of the exhibition is a reconstruction of the wooden stand of one of the pioneers in rose production - Kuncho Shipkov, with which he presented his products at the exhibition in Chicago in 1893. Exactly 130 years ago, the young Bulgarian state took part in the World Exhibition in Chicago, described and in Aleko Konstantinov's emblematic work "To Chicago and Back".
The exhibition "La Belle Rose - The mystical power of the little flower" won mobile exhibition award, in the Joint Exhibitions category of the next edition of the "Fair of Museum Exhibitions" in Ruse. We thank the colleagues from Iskra Historical Museum - Kazanlak: Dr. Momchil Marinov and Radoslav Petkov; who introduced us to their treasure house full of priceless exhibits and memories of the birth and rise of rosé production. On the part of the National History Museum, the heart of the exhibition was Dr. Petranka Nedelcheva, head of the "Exhibition and International Activities" department, who infected everyone with her love for Kazanlak and its history with the breath of roses. Dr. Ralitsa Katsova is the person who recreated the fine abaatok style of the exposition and breathed new life into the authentic stand of the merchant Shipkov.
