After the heavy storm with torrential rain and hurricane-force winds in Sofia, Boyanska Church remains closed for visits until Wednesday, November 8, 2023, inclusive.

Unfortunately, the storm that broke out over the weekend, accompanied by thunder and heavy rain, caused damage to the park area of ​​the church. Currently, the main problem is caused by fallen trees and branches. The management of the National History Museum promptly took measures to clear the broken branches and fallen trees. There are no reports of injured people or serious material damage.

For this reason, Boyanska Church remains closed to visitors until Wednesday, November 8, 2023, inclusive. The management of the National History Museum apologizes to all visitors for the inconvenience caused.
