The European Night of Museums will take place on 14 May 2022.
The National History Museum will operate with free entry from 18:00 to 24:00 (at 23:00 the admission of people to the museum is suspended).
In addition to the museum's permanent exhibition, visitors will be able to see the exhibitions "The Valchitrun Golden Treasure" and "La Belle Rose. The Mystical Power of the Little Flower'.

The Valchitran gold treasure was found by chance in 1925 in the village of Valchitran, while digging a vineyard. It is one of the most magnificent monuments of Thracian culture with a total weight of 12.4 kilograms.

The exhibition "La Belle Rose. The mystical power of the small flower" is dedicated to rose production in Bulgaria and traces the path of Bulgarian rose oil from its first drops to the conquest of world markets in the XNUMXth century.
Visitors will have the opportunity to touch real rose oil and learn about the connection between the distillation of rose oil and the brewing of brandy. They will see with their own eyes a two-hundred-year-old vessel for storing rose oil, the contents of which would be worth 700 euros these days.
